ARTWORK & DESIGN POLICY

At Modern Engraving London, we are happy to assist customers with layouts, engraving suggestions and artwork preparation to help achieve the best possible result.

Artwork Approval

For most personalised orders, a digital proof or design preview may be provided before production.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all artwork, including:

Production may begin immediately after artwork approval has been received.

Design Revisions

Reasonable artwork adjustments are normally included as part of our service (up to 3 amends).

However, extensive revisions, repeated design changes or complete redesigns may incur additional charges.

Any such charges will always be discussed and agreed before work begins.

Logos & Customer Artwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any logos, trademarks or copyrighted artwork supplied to us.

Where artwork supplied is unsuitable for engraving, we may recommend modifications or request a higher-quality file.

Re-drawing service is charged accordingly and is not part of free graphic mock ups.

Engraving on Curved Surfaces

Many glass and crystal products feature curved, faceted or decorative surfaces.

Digital proofs are intended as a guide only. The appearance of text and graphics on the finished product may vary slightly due to the shape and characteristics of the item being engraved.

Bespoke Projects

Custom and bespoke projects may require additional artwork preparation and consultation.

Where specialist design work is required, additional charges may apply.

Our Approach

We believe in clear communication and transparency. If we feel a design may not work well on a particular item, we will always advise you and suggest alternatives.

Our goal is simple: to create a finished product that both you and we can be proud of.
